"Kurdish Music for Guitar" is a new chapter from guitarist specialized in world music traditions Fernando Perez. This album contains traditional Kurdish music arranged for guitar and percussion. All of it coming from the Tanbur tradition of Kermanshah, one of the most original and ancient in the Kurdish world. We will find different compositions reflecting the types of: festive music; like "Khan Amiry", epic and heroic; "Savar Savar", as well as gnostic and mystic like "Fani" or "Jelo Shahi" among others.
